Michael is a naturally talented drummer who first began lessons at the age of 15. Being founded in all modern styles and with a strength in technique, Michael’s own learning was done with a speed that left his teachers astounded and unable to organise exams quick enough. In just a couple of years, Michael completed all levels of the AMEB course in drumming and exams.
Michael’s approach brings a mixture of fun and excitement to his teaching style, while grounding his students in the importance of technique. Providing a broad stylistic aproach with adaptive teaching styles and know-how, Michael will enspire and encourage your children to greater things.
He has spent the last year as an intern at Planetshakers church studying drums in the creative stream, where he was disciplined by Andy Harrison. This year, Michael is replacing Andy Harrison to teach drums, not only at ACA, but also with the Planetshakers Creative Arts school.
