ABOUT THE TEACHER...
Ben Pullan, Drama
Ben Pullan found a passion for drama at a young age and has followed his passion to take on a Performing Arts Major at Monash University. Over the past three years studying his Bachelor of Performing Arts Ben has focused on broadening his knowledge of the stage by studying all aspects of drama including Directing, Stage Managing, Script Writing and, of course Acting. This broadened education lead him to be part of the world premier of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Grey in 2008 at Monash University as stage manager.
Ben also acted in several plays between 2003 and 2008 as well as the occasional theatre sports competition. As well as performing in these plays Ben also learned how to write his own plays and in 2008 completed his first script that he hopes to put on the stage in the near future.
After co-directing an art house version of Peter Pan last year Ben found a passion for passing on his knowledge of performance and through teaching. He is excited to be given to opportunity to be a part of the Academy of Creative Arts and hopes to incite the same passion in the next generation of Creative Artists.
